RIO GRANDE EMBUDO STATION Scenic Half-Day River Trips
TAOS AND RIO ARRIBA COUNTY LINE TO EMBUDO STATION
The open canyon allows scenic views of basalt cliffs and riparian habitats with cottonwoods and coyote willows. The trip ends at the historic Embudo Station (505-852-4707), a restored railroad station for the Chili Line which once ran from Santa Fe to southern Colorado. There you can make reservations for lunch or dinner or just sit by the river and enjoy a glass of wine or one of their cool refreshing micro brews.
