FRIDAYS: O’Keeffe Chama Walk/Raft
Combine a morning walking tour to a restricted area of Ghost
Ranch where Georgia O’Keeffe lived and painted for over 50
years, to the actual sites where she painted many of her most
famous landscapes. Your guide will provide the group with
stories of O’Keeffe and her life at the ranch as well as the history
of Ghost Ranch, lunch and an afternoon tour of the Rio Chama
Monastery Run.

SATURDAYS: O’Keeffe Horseback/Raft
Combines a horseback trail ride into a restricted area of Ghost
Ranch where Georgia O’Keeffe lived and painted for over 50
years, through the actual sites where she painted many of her
most famous landscapes. Your guide will provide the group with
stories of O’Keeffe and her life at the ranch as well as the history
of Ghost Ranch, lunch and an afternoon tour of the Rio Chama
Monastery Run. (Meets at 9:00am.)

Movie Tour/Raft: Combines a walking tour of the areas where critically acclaimed movies were filmed at Ghost Ranch including “Cowboys and Aliens,”“ 3:10 to Yuma,” “City Slickers,”” Indiana Jones,”
“Lonesome Dove,” “Wyatt Earp,” and “Silverado.” Your guide
will provide the group with interesting facts about the movies as
well as the history of Ghost Ranch, lunch and an afternoon tour
of the Rio Chama Monastery Run.

SUNDAYS: Archaeology Walk/Raft
Combines a walking tour of the Psh’owinge ruins, a visit to the
Florence Ellis Museum of Anthropology, lunch and an afternoon
tour of the Rio Chama Monastery Run. (Meets at 10:00am at
“Trujillo’s Country Store,” 1.5 miles south of Abiquiu.)

WEDNESDAYS: Dinosaur Walk/Raft
Combines a morning walk to a paleontologists dinosaur dig, a
visit to The Ruth Hall Museum of Paleontology and the reconstructed
skeleton of Coelophysis, lunch and an afternoon tour of the Rio Chama Monastery Run.

THURSDAYS: Ghost Ranch History Walk/Raft
Combines a guided walking tour of Ghost Ranch, a visit to the
museums of Anthropology and Paleontology, lunch and an afternoon
tour of the Rio Chama Monastery Run.
